A commission to design a new landscape for an existing beachfront estate quickly escalated in complexity when DWY was asked to lead the design team, using landscape architecture interventions as the catalyst for a multi-phased architectural renovation and expansion. Honoring the home's original architecture and established modern design ethos, this project demonstrates landscape architecture's capacity to synthesize a myriad of built and natural systems as a design response that creates a unified sense of place.
