As landscape architects, we practice the analysis, planning, design, management, and stewardship of natural and built environments. Designing spaces that blend residences, neighborhoods, towns, and cities with the surrounding natural environment, from forests and fields to rivers and coasts, without doing harm requires a commitment to sustainable practices, low-impact development, and, for our Southwest Florida area especially, coastal resiliency. With these principals at the forefront, DWY works to create a thoughtful integration of the land and built environment to create a sense of place and seamless relationship of the two, blurring the boundaries between the indoors and outdoors and deepening humanity’s relationship with nature.
